Oman's Sohar airport conducts trail landing

Oman's Sohar airport has conducted its first landing test with an aircraft making a trial landing as part of operations to check the airport's ground navigation systems, runway lightings and other facilities by comparing them with specifications of international airports and the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Oman Daily Observer has reported. The inspection testing was performed by using a special plane equipped with the latest global regulations to check a flight owned by the British Cobham.
