Omran launches Rest Areas Project

Oman's state-owned Omran has launched a development concept called the 'Rest Areas Project' which will create a nationwide network of rest areas along the country's highways, Muscat Daily has reported. Oman will start the first project on the Quriyat-Sur highway, which will serve as a model for the entire network of rest houses, the firm said. "This project will be a model for all the selected sites, with minor adjustments to suit specific locations," Abdul Wahid al Farsi, vice president, external affairs at Omran, told the daily.
