Qantas to begin long-haul services through Dubai from March 31

Australian carrier Qantas, which has recently signed a 10-year partnership agreement with Emirates Airline, has revealed its new schedule from spring 2013 enabling customers to book flights through the global hub of Dubai for travel from March 31, 2013. Qantas said that although the proposed partnership with Emirates still requires approval from Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC), these revised flight times do not involve coordination between airlines and will not affected by the approval process. The ACCC said it would continue to assess the deal, with a draft determination due out by December and a final decision by the end of March 2013.
