Ramee Group of Hotels and Resorts has announced it is set to open its first five-star hotel in Bahrain this August, Khaleej Times has reported. The 166-key property will also be the tallest hotel in the kingdom, chairman and managing director Raj Shetty, told the daily. "Our first five-star hotel... is in Bahrain and [was] delayed for a few months due to numerous reasons... but finally we are ready to open it during the forthcoming Eid that will fall in August," Shetty said. The firm also plans to add six new hotels to its five-star portfolio including two in the UAE, another in Bahrain and three in India. "We are planning to open one five-star hotel in Dubai's Business Bay and another in Abu Dhabi's Reem Island. The rest of the five-star hotels are at differing stages," he said.
