Ras Al Khaimah installs new speed radars

The Department of Traffic and Patrols in Ras Al Khaimah has said it has completed the installation of new road radars at the emirate's internal roads and highways, Gulf News has reported. The radars will help to reduce road accidents and is part of a larger traffic safety plan in the emirate. "Radars can detect not only speeding, but a whole range of driving offences," said director of the Traffic and Patrol Department at RAK Police, Col. Abdullah Ali Al Munkis.
