Regulator suspends Kingfisher Airlines' licence

India's aviation regulator has suspended Kingfisher Airlines' licence after the debt-laden carrier failed to address the regulator's concerns about its operations, Reuters has reported. The airline's fleet has been grounded since the start of the month when a staff protest turned violent. The suspended licence will be reinstated if Kingfisher provides a plan that satisfies the aviation regulator, a government source told the news service.
