Saudi government defends Lebanon travel warning

The Saudi government has announced its decision warning Saudi citizens against traveling to Lebanon is still valid, as the regional situation still calls for measures of vigilance, Arab News has reported. "As long as the circumstances that led to the issuance still exist, it is better to continue adherence to the content of the decision and postpone visits to Lebanon during this phase until conditions are permissible," said the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Awad Asiri.
