Saudi Ports Authority takes 3 new tugboats from Zamil

The Saudi Ports Authority has said it has taken receipt of three tugboats from Zamil Offshore Services, the company commissioned by the ports authority to build the tugboats - Rasalkir 1, Rasalkir 2 and Rasalkir 3, Saudi Gazette has reported. The boats are Robert Allan Ltd. designed RAmparts 3200-W tugs. Each of the three tugboats has a length of 31 metres, beam of 12 metres, depth of 5.36 metres, maximum draft of 5.20 metres and total power of 4720 kW. The vessels have been built and classed to American Bureau of Shipping notations.
