Saudia begins hiring Saudi pilots

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has decided to employ Saudi pilots who pass the exam set by Prince Sultan Aviation Academy in Jeddah, Saudi Gazette has reported. Earlier, the airline required the conversion of the foreign license to its Saudi equivalent, issued by the kingdom's aviation regulator. "The General Authority of Civil Aviation is following FAA practical test standards, rules and procedures," Capt. Vince Peccarino, head of the training at Saudi Arabian Flight Academy (SAFA) in Riyadh, told the daily.
