Saudia sells 30% stake in aircraft maintenance firm

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has a signed an agreement to privatise its aircraft maintenance company, Saudi Aerospace Engineering Industries, Arab News has reported. The airline sold 30% of its stake to Tarabut Aircraft Maintenance Co, owned by Integrated Transport Co. Prince Fahd bin Abdullah, president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and chairman of Saudia said the airline's privatisation is in the final stages. "We hope Saudia's privatization process would be completed shortly," the prince told reporters at the signing ceremony.
