Some 10,000 jobs at risk in Lebanon due to smoking ban, says hotelier

Pierre Ashkar, head of Lebanon's hotel owners' association, has said around 10,000 employees could be laid off when shishah cafes are forced to shut down by the new law prohibiting smoking indoors, The Daily Star has reported. "Therefore, we hope that a section in restaurants will be set aside for smokers," he said.
