Thailand's MHG plans Mideast expansion after Per AQUUM stake buy out

Thailand-headquartered Minor Hotel Group (MHG) has said it has acquired 50% of the luxury boutique hotel brand Per AQUUM Retreats, Resorts and Residences for $4m. Per AQUUM has three properties; two in the Maldives, Huvafen Fushi and NIYAMA, and the Desert Palm in Dubai. MHG plans to add at least five additional properties within the next five years, with a focus on the Indian Ocean, the Middle East and Africa.
