UAE issues Dhs10 on imported mobile phones

The UAE government has decided to impose levy on mobile phones imported into the country, Khaleej Times has reported. The levy, called the Green Dirham, is to have a total value of Dhs10 and will be imposed on every mobile imported with intentions to use it inside the UAE, according to the cabinet decision.
