A cabling specialist has streamlined internal communications and drastically reduced CO2 emissions by an estimated 12.5 tons. Reichle & De-Massari (R&M) Middle East, Turkey and Africa, the Swiss structured cabling specialist, has successfully optimised internal communications and eliminated the need for one in every five business trips though the deployment of a streamlined conferencing solution from Swisscom. The cabling specialist estimates that in addition to increased efficiency and cost savings, the system has helped reduce emissions of the greenhouse gas CO2 by about 12.5 tons. "We are very proud of the positive initiatives that have been undertaken by our headquarters and see tremendous value in replicating the same at a local level.
