Yemen agrees on accession to Int'l marine convention

In its weekly meeting, the cabinet agreed on accession of Yemen to the 1979 International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue, reported IRNA. Some 81 world countries are members in the convention. The cabinet asked to follow up legal measures to issue a decision on the accession to this international convention. The agreement aims at enhancing activities of the sea safety and cooperation between member countries.
