Bahrain Marina, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Social Insurance Organization (SIO), announced the appointment of Mr. Yazan Haddad as the Chief Executive Officer of ‘Bahrain Marina Development Company’.
Commenting on the new appointment, Mr. Abdulrahman Yusuf Fakhro, Chairman of Bahrain Marina said: “Having announced the launch of the ambitious Bahrain Marina Project; an exciting platform for growth, there is no better person to lead the project through the next phase of development than Mr. Yazan Haddad.”
“He is a proven leader, effective role model and a prominent figure in the Kingdom in regards to the real estate industry. As we enter the next phase of growth from a position of operational and overall development, his skills will undoubtedly ensure that Bahrain Marina delivers value for all of our stakeholders,” Mr. Fakhro added.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Haddad said: “It’s a great time to join Bahrain Marina as the project enters its second phase of development. The focus now is on ensuring that the project meets the overall objective and mandate set by the Board. Bahrain Marina is clearly moving towards becoming one of the leading projects in the Kingdom.”
‘Bahrain Marina’, dubbed as an iconic world-class facility, stretches along a pristine coastline in Manama and will be positioned as the Kingdom’s prime lifestyle and leisure destination.
Aiming for completion by 2020; the mix-used project will include a five star lifestyle hotel, serviced and freehold apartments, waterfront villas along with a shopping mall, fully-integrated family entertainment centre and a recreational waterfront space with dining and retail spaces.
A yacht club will be built covering an impressive area with the capacity of berthing a vast number of boats of different sizes.
