Abu Dhabi Motors has been revealed as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ best-selling dealership in the world last year, achieving and impressive sales growth of 13% in 2014 for the ultra-luxury marquee.
Standing out as the global leader for the third time in the past five years, Abu Dhabi Motors consolidated its position at the summit of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ global network, while contributing towards the success of the Middle East region as a whole.
Comprising around one-fifth of the company’s global volumes in 2014, the Middle-East region achieved phenomenal success, anchoring itself as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ second largest market globally.
“2014 was a year full of incredible achievements for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Abu Dhabi, both on a regional and global level. At Abu Dhabi Motors, we are proud to have experienced such a strong year and are honoured to achieve the status of the biggest-selling dealer for the company again.” said Mr. Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors.
He continued: “With the appointment of our new Brand Manager, Joseph Tayar, the continued success of the Wraith, the launch of the remarkable new Ghost Series II, and a striking selection of Bespoke vehicles designed specifically for our elite clientele in Abu Dhabi, 2014 was truly outstanding for us. We can attribute our success not only to the high-caliber vehicles offered by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars but also to the level of unmatched customer service provided by Abu Dhabi Motors, and our discerning clientele, who’s passion for automotive excellence, and love for the Rolls-Royce brand propels our continued growth to new levels each year.”
Well known on the marques global network for exceptional Bespoke offerings, Abu Dhabi Motors welcomed a selection of beautiful Bespoke models into its showroom in 2014, including three of only 35 limited edition Waterspeed Phantom Drophead Coupés.
Inspired by Sir Malcom Campbell’s historic and seminal act of British daring and endeavour more than 70 years ago, the Bespoke Waterspeed Collection pays homage to his momentous achievement of setting the waterspeed record in 1937 using a Rolls-Royce powered Bluebird K3 hydroplane boat. With a striking Maggiore Blue exterior and brushed steel deck and bonnet, the Bespoke Waterspeed Collection theme is carried throughout the vehicle through an array of unique features and engravings.
The first ever Bespoke Collection to encompass the marque’s entire family, the Suhail, also arrived at the showroom in 2014. An outstanding showcase of the Bespoke Programme offered by the ultra-luxury marque, the Suhail Collection encompasses a range of unique touches inspired by the Suhail star constellation. The exterior of these exquisite vehicles sparkles in an astronomy-like moonstone pearl colour, complemented by a Turchese Blue coachline. The interior continues the theme by elegantly combining Crème Light leather with Turchese accents, framed by Navy Blue instrument panel top and carpets.
Both collections are testament to the painstaking craftsmanship that is required to bring Bespoke concepts to life and contributed to Rolls-Royce sustaining its leadership of the industry in the area of personalisation in 2014 and will continue to do so in 2015 and beyond.
