Bahrain’s Seef Mall organizes series of activities for mums

BSeef Mall invites mothers to shine at its Mother’s Day Jewel Arcade.

Mother’s Day is that time of year to celebrate the important role mothers play in our lives. Following the success of last year’s event, Seef Mall is giving kids the chance to thank their mums and what better way than with jewelry.

Seef Mall has lined up a series of activities designed especially for mums and their kids running from Wednesday 18th March through to Sunday 22nd March. The highlight of the five day extravaganza is Bahrain-based gemologist and owner of Curve Jewelry, Mrs. Khulood A. Qader, who will treat mothers to an informative session on diamonds and pearls.

As mothers enter the stand in the West Wing, they will be greeted with a flower and a warm cup of traditional karak tea or coffee served by Rice Bowl. Kids will have the chance to drop a wish for their Mum into an elegantly designed wishing lamp, with one lucky mother having the wish granted by Seef Mall once the event is finished.

An accessory corner provided by ‘I am’ accessories will give mums the chance to browse a wide range of the latest fashion jewelry and accessories. And while their mothers are browsing, kids will have the opportunity to create special jewelry accessories for their mums.

A photo booth provided by Elephant Photo-booth will also be available at the Jewel Arcade for mothers and kids to create a photographic memorial to record this special Mother’s Day experience at the mall.

Seef Mall’s Mother’s Day activities are complimentary for mall visitors. The Jewel Arcade and activities are open to mothers and their children (5-12 years old) until Sunday 22 March from 10am to 10pm.

Launching the event, Robert Addison, General Manager of Seef said, “As a family mall, we believe that the role mothers play in our lives is special. After the success of last year’s event, we wanted to celebrate with all mums in Bahrain, giving them something with elegance and glamour – something every mother deserves. We wanted to bring a smile to every mother’s face and to thank them for all the hard, often unseen, work they do.”
