Dubai’s real estate market is in the spotlight at CityScape Global 2014.
While a plethora of new development projects was announced over the past two days, LuxuryMena.com, sister publication of Aficionado, highlights a few that caught its attention:
Sparkle Towers is a crystal-inspired residential building, which will be constructed in partnership with Swarovski, boasting panoramic views of the Dubai Marina, as well as lifestyle and luxury retail space.
“Sparkle Towers in Dubai Marina is the epitome of luxury and 21st-century architecture,” says Naji Alia, managing director at Tebyan.
The Palm Getaway
Nakheel announced its most recent project, The Palm Getaway, on the first day of CityScape Global (September 21). The Dubai-based developer plans to build a three-tower waterfront living and leisure complex at the entrance to the Palm Jumeirah, which will include more than 1,000 homes, a beach club, retail outlets, and dining and health and fitness facilities.
“The Palm Gateway brings yet another iconic and landmark project to our flagship, world-famous development of the Palm Jumeirah, and adds hundreds of residential and retail units to our leasing portfolio,” says Ali Rashid Lootah, chairman at Nakheel. “The project combines luxury beachfront living, exciting shopping, dining and entertainment options, and some of the best water and city views in the Middle East. It promotes sustainability, with its extensive health, wellbeing and fitness facilities, and convenient transport links for travel within surrounding areas and across Dubai.”
The Meydan Avenue
The Meydan Group’s Meydan Avenue, previously known as The Diamond Business Park, will offer residential, commercial, retail and recreational facilities. Located adjacent to Al Meydan Road, it will be home to the new Meydan headquarters.
“We are building desirable communities in Dubai, which will become integral areas for living and working in the years to come. It’s an exciting time for us at Meydan, as construction is underway on major projects that will soon come to life,” says Saeed Humaid Al Tayer, chairman at Meydan. “Residential apartments in the Meydan Avenue will look across the Meydan Grandstand, giving residents access to its recreational facilities, such as The Track, Meydan Golf and a range of shops and restaurants.”
