Hotbrands International enters Dragon Mart with Shamiana, Santino’s and Magic Wok

The first HBI outlets at Dragon Mart are part of the ongoing expansion of the award-winning UAE-based food services company.

Hotbrands International (HBI) has opened three of its popular quick service restaurants at Dragon Mart 2, the newly established extension to the sprawling trade hub that is one of the most preferred shopping destinations of residents and visitors to Dubai.

HBI has entered the Dragon Mart retail complex by opening its Shamiana restaurant, which serves Indian cuisine, and recently nominated for the Most Admired Retailer of the Year (QSR) at the Retail ME Awards, as well as outlets of Santino’s serving authentic Italian pizzas and pastas and Magic Wok, offering Chinese cuisine.

The first HBI outlets at Dragon Mart are part of the ongoing expansion of the award-winning UAE-based food services company, which specializes in multi-ethnic food concepts that cater to the tastes of a cosmopolitan customer base in the UAE.

Commenting on the latest addition to HBI’s growing network of outlets, HBI spokesperson, Prabhakar Singh, said: “By opening three of our famous quick service restaurants at Dragon Mart, HBI has taken another step towards consolidating its market leadership in the multi-ethnic food segment. HBI’s new outlets will not only allow customers at Dragon Mart to savour our specialty ethnic dishes but also offer fresh dine out choices for residents living in the neighbourhood communities such as International City.”

HBI opened its first outlet in Dubai 23 years ago, and has now grown to more than 50 outlets in the GCC, India and United States. HBI is particularly well known for its Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) format. Currently, HBI’s QSR concepts include Shamiana (Indian cuisine), Magic Wok (Chinese), Santino’s (Italian), Sala Thai (Thai) and Sugoi! (Japanese), which reflect the flavours and cultures of the countries they represent. Its Casual Dining Restaurant (CDR) concept features Haru, which serves Japanese Robatayaki cuisine. HBI has also opened its first Fast Casual Restaurant (FCR) concept, Wok Chi, which serves Chinese cuisine, in the United States.
