Omega’s partnership with ORBIS International, the non-profit humanitarian organisation behind the Flying Eye Hospital that recently visited Abu Dhabi as part of its global mission, is nothing short of commendable.
Since 1982, the Flying Eye Hospital has been providing high-quality eye care and preventing avoidable blindness around the world, while also training healthcare professionals in some of the most remotest regions. After 30 years in the service, ORBIS now boasts having trained more than 280,000 medical professionals and treated more than 15 million patients.
To further highlight the cause, Omega has co-produced a short film with ORBIS called Through Their Eyes that documents brand ambassador Daniel Craig’s visit to Mongolia with the ORBIS team, and created a special watch – the Hour Vision Blue – to commemorate the partnership.
In support of ORBIS’ admirable work, Omega will also donate a minimum of US$1 million over a period of four years based on sales of their Hour Vision Blue watch.
