Rotana shined again at Horeca 2015 exhibition, the annual meeting point for the region’s professionals in the hospitality and food service industries that was held from April 20 till April 23, at Biel.
The lights were shed at the cooks of Rotana Group – leader in hotel management in the MENA region – who excelled in their participation in various cooking competitions, demonstrating the highest standards of creativity and professionalism.
Chef assistant at Gefinor Rotana, Zakaria Dbouk, won the gold medal at the cold sandwiches competition that was held at the event, and Mustafa Nawwar bagged the silver medal for the art of service competition.
Rotana Hotel Group participated in this annual exhibition that hosted more than 385 companies and agencies working in the tourism and food and beverage industries, and representatives of the Group were present at a boost that aimed to feature their expansions through a map that shows their locations across continents.
The group also participated in several competitions that took place at the exhibition. The director of the food and beverage department at Gefinor Rotana, Jad Baaklini, was one of the jury members at the art of service competition, and the executive director of internal supervision at the hotel, Janine Haddad, was part of the jury members at the bed making competition.
