Complex Made Simple

Shoe atelier

Level Shoe District looks behind the scenes of its brands to pay tribute to the intricate art of shoemaking.

The shoe atelier is a campaign made to share and explain the trends and secrets of the fall/winter collections. The store will become a museum taking its customers in their favourite brands’ design studios. With an emphasis on the attention to details luxury shoemaking requires, this operation will feature numerous workshops and exhibits.

“We consistently strive to create a shoe haven for our shoe-obsessed clientele. Introducing Shoe Atelier, we worked with our brands to tell the incredible stories of all the craftsmanship and resources that go behind the scenes of creating every unique shoe, turning dreams into reality,” says Rania Masri, general manager at Level Shoe District.

Taking things to the next level, the department store invited shoe brand United Nude to create a model in-store using a 3D printer.

“Stitch work and the secrets of this season’s most stylish shoes will be presented alongside a careful curation of the tools, patterns and fabrics used to create them, bringing each department of Level Shoe District to life and showcasing Autumn/Winter’s must-haves as miniature masterpieces,” explains the brand in a statement.

Brands like Berluti, Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci will also be participating in this atelier, showcasing sketches and artwork of their latest creations.
