UAE’s marathon tops a list of 7 events that celebrate human endurance

Running a marathon is not a flight response!
A marathon is an expression of will and endurance, no matter how old or young a participant is.
UAE has just concluded one of the region’s largest mass participation meets where over 30,000 runners were cheered as they coasted the streets of Dubai this morning, in Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon’s 19th edition.
One runner was toasted; Mosinet Geremew an Ethiopian, and 9 others of his countrymen placed 1-10, but the course record of 2 hours and 4 minutes, was Geremew’s alone.
The 2017 winner Tamirat Tola, was in third place in 2018.
