Malte 100th Anniversary Edition

In 1912, Vacheron Constantin became one of the first watch manufacturers to adopt tonneau or barrel-shaped cases, breaking convention by moving away from the rounded shape of pocket-watches that was popular at the time.

To commemorate a century of this achievement, Vacheron has redesigned its popular Malte collection, which was first introduced in 2000, with four new models – the new Malte Tourbillon, Malte small seconds and Malte small model are complemented by a special anniversary watch, issued in a 100-piece limited series.

The Malte 100th Anniversary Edition hand-wound watch, which sports the Hallmark of Geneva as a guarantee of its origin, craftsmanship and expertis, comes in a case made of 950 platinum.

All 100 watches in the limited series are individually numbered on the caseback and fitted with a strap in blue Mississippiensis alligator leather.
