Foodnews Juice MENA 2014, an inaugural conference with a focus exclusively on juice markets in the Region, will spotlight a presentation on the Brazilian Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (FCOJ) trade by Jan Dabrowa, commercial director of GrupoBraz Consulting and BrazArtis, an import-export company from Rio de Janeiro.
To be held from 19-20 January 2014 at the H Hotel in Dubai and themed 'Capitalize on growth opportunities in the MENA JNSD markets by comparing regional consumer demand and global raw material outlooks´, the conference will assemble international specialists, region's foremost juice majors, physical traders and financial players.
Jan Dabrowa, Commercial Director of GrupoBraz - BrazArtis, said: "With positive forecast for 2014/2015 orange season, the Brazilian frozen concentrated orange juice (FCOJ) inventory is expected to decrease from 766,000 tons to 477,000 tons for 2014. At the same time, the inventory levels can be affected by recent draughts in leading orange producing states and underlying industry dynamics which may affect the price of the commodity."
According to Agribusiness Analysis report by Regina Helena Couto Silva from Bradesco Bank, the consumption of orange juice concentrate in emerging countries grew by 35%, with market share of global consumption increasing from 10% to 15% between 2008 and 2013. On another hand, the consumption in the developed countries has dropped by 20%.
During key panel discussions and keynote addresses, speakers will examine the global position of the juice sector in the MENA Region, assess the changing industry landscape, impact of demographics and economic growth, identify the latest global beverage trends, challenges, demand, health, wellness and safety developments.
Foodnews Juice MENA 2014 will give insights into key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria and the UAE, and enable the audience to better identify consumer tastes as per the emerging product trends.
