500 of IT experiences and decision maker to participate in MEET ICT in Bahrain

Both conference and exhibition will be held on the 4th 5th and 6th of January 2016

The Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) revealed that about 500 of the IT experiences and decision maker will attend the opening of the sixth edition of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) conference “MEET ICT” and the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) next Monday.

The guests will be from government and the private IT sector in Bahrain, Arabian Gulf States, USA, China, Japan, India and more.

Both conference and exhibition will be held on the 4th 5th and 6th of January 2016 under the patronage of the Minister of Transport and Communications HE Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed at the Gulf Exhibition and Conference Center.

BTECH stressed its confidence in successfully opening ceremony in collaboration with its strategist’s partners, including the organizer of the event Work Smart Company, in addition to Batelco, VIVA, Huawei, Microsoft and other partners.

An elite group of local, regional and global speakers will participate in the sessions and workshops of the event to discuss a wide range of current technical topics and the latest data of the sector around the world. In addition, a number of key issues highlighting the importance of the information and communications technology industry will be reviewed.

A total of 80 local, regional and international companies are expected to participate in the event with an increase of 20% compared to last year’s event which enhances the prestige of the exhibition as an annual event and prominent place to meet exhibitors from the public and private sectors to offer services, products, signing of agreements, contracts and engage in productive partnerships.

BITEX 2016 will cover various information and communication technology sectors such as information and communication solutions systems, distance training and education, banking, insurance, health care, and other sectors.

Work Smart this year was keen to strengthen the participants’ benefit by building a permanent processing platform in a prominent place of the exhibition through which they will manage to showcase their products and services to the largest possible number of visitors.
