Abu Dhabi Motors appoints new Rolls-Royce Brand Manager

Abu Dhabi Motors, the sole dealer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the Capital, has announced the appointment of Joseph Tayar as Brand Manager of the ultra-luxury marque, replacing the outgoing Kadhim El Helli.

Tayar began his career in the automotive industry in 1999 in his native Lebanon as a car leasing and finance Sales Consultant for a number of brands before moving to Qatar in 2005 to join BMW Group importer Alfardan Automobiles. There he served as BMW Sales Executive and Consultant for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha, gaining experience in marketing, sales management and customer relations, before becoming Brand Manager for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

During his eight years in the role, he was responsible for an 80% surge in sales and was awarded numerous accolades, including Best Target Achiever Rolls-Royce for the Middle East in 2008 and Best Regional Sales Manager in 2010 – the same year that Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha was named Best Regional Rolls-Royce dealer.

Speaking from the home of the world’s biggest Rolls-Royce showroom in Abu Dhabi, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors, Arno Husselman, said, “We are delighted to welcome Joseph Tayar to the Abu Dhabi Motors family. His considerable experience makes him perfectly placed to further build and expand on our exceptional success that has seen the Rolls-Royce brand in Abu Dhabi go from strength to strength over the past few years – we are the most recognized market both internationally and regionally for sales and the world’s highest Bespoke dealer. Joseph is uniquely positioned to lead our sales and marketing team to even further success.”

Husselman continued, “We are grateful to Kadhim El Helli for the substantial contribution he has made to our business over the past 15 years. We wish him well in his new endeavours.”

Tayar holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Marketing from the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut and speaks Arabic, English and French. He assumed his new role on July 2014.
