Accor Middle East, one of the leading hospitality groups in the region, has signed a management contract with API Hotels and Resorts for the first upscale serviced apartments with a premium label in Dubai, the Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha, in the presence of Jassim bin Mohamed Abdul Raheem Al Ali, CEO of API Hotels & Resorts and Christophe Landais, Managing Director for Accor Middle East.
The Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha with its 201 upscale serviced apartments located in Al Barsha will become the third property for API Hotels & Resorts’ where they already own Novotel Al Barsha and ibis Al Barsha. It is scheduled to be opened in the first quarter of 2014.
The Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha is strategically located in Al Barsha near to the Mall of the Emirates, directly on the front line of Sheikh Zayed Road with excellent accessibility and high visibility as well as direct access to Dubai Metro Sharaf DG metro station.The Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha is part of a large mixed-use complex including the Novotel Al Barsha, and an office tower. It offers 201 upscale apartments from one bedroom to four bedroom apartments. Adagio guests will have access to the various meeting facilities, F&B outlets, gymnasium, swimming-pool and Spa of the adjacent Novotel Al Barsha.

The new Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha will bring the total number of Adagio properties under development in the region to four. In 2014, a further two Adagio properties are set to open in the United Arab Emirates with Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan (279 apartments) by first quarter followed by the Adagio Fujairah Town Centre (72 apartments) during the second quarter of 2014. Accor’s expansion plan for Adagio also entails a property in Saudi Arabia, the Adagio Jeddah Malik Road (77 apartments) due to open in 2016.
Adagio Aparthotel Premium Dubai Al Barsha joins Accor’s regional Middle East portfolio of 61 hotels (14,351 rooms) whose growth encompasses another 20 hotels (5,025 rooms) to be opened in five countries by 2016.
