European plane maker Airbus has said the Middle East remains the top market for its corporate jets, accounting for around half of more than 170 aircraft ordered worldwide, Gulf Daily News has reported. "This region has always been a growth area but it is even more so now," Airbus Industrie executive and private aviation marketing director David Velupillai said at an event in Bahrain. The region is more discerning as far as the size and the room of aircraft go. "We have a customer base here and that is poised to go up," he said.
