Al-Falak Software Products Division forges a strategic new partnership, broadening their products portfolio and offering more value to customers

The Software Products Division (SPD), a division of one of the KSA’s leading IT companies, is looking to enhance its market presence with the development of a strategic new partnership to help widen its offered product portfolio while at the same time providing more value additions to its customers. The division distributes software products to major markets in the GCC region.

Al-Falak SPD is one of the region’s leading software vendors representing global software brands like Compuware, Serena, Axway, IBM, Beta Systems and Vanguard among others.

According to Mr. Hasan Ba-Mehrez, General Manager for the Business Analytic Services Division and SPD, Al-Falak, this division is responsible for providing software solutions for mainframe, iSeries and for distributed systems. He shared that the continuing demand for IT software products and services has prompted the company to look into further expansion, particularly reaching out to new segments like support and services for managed file transfer (MFT), consulting & technology services, data entry and productivity & systems management.

Ba-Mehrez added, “In line with the move to expand our presence in the region, we are now looking towards forging new partnerships. In fact, as part of the efforts to serve related services for IBM Sterling products, we will be partnering with Xintec, a World-Class B2B & MFT Centre of Excellence, based in South Africa and have a global presence. In addition, we will soon be offering consultancy and solutions integration with Nihilnet Technologies, a global business consulting and solutions Integration Company in India.”

Since its establishment, Al-Falak SPD has partnered successfully with globally renowned IT brands like Axway for Managed File Transfer, Beta Systems for Identity Access Management, Compuware for Application Performance Management, Chicago Soft for Quickref, IBM for Tivoli products – Performance and Availability solutions, QSL Group for Quick EDD, Serena for Application Lifecycle Management and Vanguard for Enterprise Security Software.

The software division offers a diverse portfolio of services like System Application and Network Monitoring from IBM & Compuware; Test Data Privacy from Compuware; Document Logistics from Compuware & Serena; Application Lifecycle Management from Serena & IBM; High Availability from QSL; Managed File Transfer from Axway & IBM Sterling Products and Security & Identity Management from Vanguard & Beta Systems.
