As a huge crowd comprising families and general aviation fans is expected to converge at the Al Khor airport for the seventh edition of Al Khor Fly-In, major companies from Qatar have provided its full backing to the annual family event scheduled to take place on the 10th and 11th of January next year.
Under the sponsorship and support of the Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar and organized by the Al Khor Fly-In organizing committee, the Al Khor Fly-In now has Qatar Airways – the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar – as the event’s Platinum Sponsor and OOREDOO – the fastest-growing telecommunications company and the preferred choice for world-class communication for consumers, businesses, residences and organisations in Qatar – and RasGas one of the world’s premier integrated LNG enterprises as its Gold Sponsors.

To enable guests and visitors to see all the light aircraft on display up close and personal, as well as to enable them freely interact with pilots, gates at the event will be open to the public from 8:00 am up to 5:30 pm during the two days.

The Al Khor Airport is located 31 km north of Doha, and is to the east of the Al Khor coastal road.
