Armani Hotel Dubai marks fifth anniversary of trend-defining success

Defines distinctive niche in global luxury hospitality as one of a kind property

Five years ago, Dubai made history with the first signature hotel bearing the individual stamp of fashion legend Giorgio Armani opening in Burj Khalifa.

Today, Armani Hotel Dubai, the world’s only one-of-a-kind property, defined by its location in the world’s tallest building and intimate association with Giorgio Armani, has carved a distinctive niche in the global luxury hospitality.

Reflecting the pure elegance, simplicity and sophisticated comfort that define Armani’s signature style, the hotel which has won multiple industry accolades, marked its fifth anniversary recently.

Personalising the entire guest journey through its ‘Stay with Armani’ philosophy, the property has introduced several industry-firsts that are today benchmarks in luxury hospitality. From Lifestyle Managers, who offer the perfect match of pampering and privacy for guests, to signature restaurants and spa treatments and unmatched business venues, Armani Hotel Dubai has consistently focused on standing apart on all aspects of the hotel’s operations.

Highlighting its industry leadership, Armani Hotel Dubai has been honoured with several industry accolades. In 2014, it won the ‘World’s Leading Landmark Hotel Award’ and repeated its 2013 triumph as ‘Dubai’s Leading Lifestyle Hotel’ at the World Travel Awards.

Armani Hotel Dubai also won the ‘Global Travel Experience Award’ in the ‘best in-room technology’ category, organised by Zanadu, China’s leading luxury and boutique travel platform and 21 Century Media Group. It was one of only five hotels worldwide to be nominated for the award.

At the World Travel Awards, Armani Hotel Dubai was voted as the ‘World’s Leading Designer Hotel’ in 2012 and as ‘Middle East’s Leading Luxury Hotel’ in 2011. It was honoured for ‘Best Hotel Construction and Design’ at the International Property Awards in 2010.
This year, Armani Hotel Dubai won two laurels at the Time Out Restaurant Awards 2015 – with Armani/Ristorante honoured as the ‘Best Italian Restaurant’ for the third consecutive year, while Armani/Amal was ‘Highly Commended’ as ‘Best Indian Restaurant’ having clinched the award in 2013 and 2014.

Armani Hotel Dubai has also opened three outdoor balconies that add al fresco space to the hotel’s popular dining venues opening to spectacular views of The Dubai Fountain and Downtown Dubai. Diners now have dedicated balcony seating at Armani/Ristorante, Armani/Deli and Armani/Mediterraneo. Each restaurant terrace features specially commissioned Armani/Casa furniture personally selected by Giorgio Armani.
