Avisa Gulf formed, first Mena Camo company

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has awarded a joint venture between Abu Dhabi-based Al Jaber Aviation and Avisa UK the region's first airworthiness GCAA Part M Camo (Continued Airworthiness and Maintenance Management Organisation) approval for a standalone firm, Arabian Aerospace has reported. As a CAMO management company, Avisa Gulf can audit and coordinate the compliance of aircraft with maintenance programmes, airworthiness directives and service bulletins. The aircraft approved include A318-100, A320-200, B737-700, and Embraer 135, 145 and 190.
