First seen on the streets of London in 1991, and a familiar sight in Dubai since 2003, Big Bus Tours, the world’s largest operator of high quality hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tours, announced last evening at an event held at the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, the expansion of its existing tour portfolio with an exciting third route. This new route will showcase Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Marina Mall, The Walk and Marina Beach. The launch was attended by senior officials and executives from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and representatives from the travel and tourism industry.
Keeping pace with Dubai’s rapid development, the new Marina Tour consists of 15 stops and is the perfect addition to the existing Beach and City tours that Big Bus already successfully operates. The new route provides visitors with a fresh perspective on Dubai, highlighting some of the latest projects and contemporary developments within the city.
The Marina Tour ceremony was unveiled in the presence of Ahmad Khalifa Al-Falasi, CEO of Support Services, DTCM along with senior management figures from Big Bus Tours.

The Marina Tour will run at 20-minute intervals throughout the day, and feature Mall of the Emirates, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Palm View Beach, Palm Jumeirah Monorail Station, Beach resorts, Marina Walk, Dubai Marina Mall, The Walk JBR, The Beach JBR, Marina Promenade, Marina Quays, The Boulevard, Bayside and Atlantis the Palm.

The new route also includes a free Arabian Dhow cruise on the Marina, which enables guests to witness magnificent views of the Dubai Marina skyline and the innovative designs of modern skyscrapers. This one-hour cruise sails gently through the sparkling emerald waters of the Dubai Marina, where passengers can marvel at the modern buildings that make up the international Dubai of today.

Launched in Dubai in 2003, Big Bus Dubai currently operates a fleet of 25 vehicles, covering 3 routes featuring the City, Beach and Marina tours. In addition, it provides a free shuttle service to Dubai Festival City, a free Sharjah Tour and a free Desert Sunset Tour that includes an Arabian Desert sunset, camel rides and a welcome drink.
