Boeing Co is negotiating orders with four airlines for its redesigned 777X jetliner valued at as much as $87bn ahead of next month’s Dubai Airshow, Bloomberg has reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The 255 planes under discussion include 100 to 150 for Emirates, about 50 for Qatar Airways and as many as 30 for Etihad Airways, said the people. Cathay Pacific Airways is weighing as many as 25 jets, one person said. The Dubai expo runs November 17-21.
