British Airways increases pre and in-flight pampering in time for the party season

British Airways and Elemis, the leading luxury British spa and skincare brand will be unwrapping new-look travel spas as well as in-flight amenity kits in the Club World class, just in time for Christmas. In addition to the popular menu of massage treatments, the travel spas which provide a complimentary service in the lounges at Terminal 5 and JFK, will now also offer a range of specialist grooming treatments for both men and women starting in early December, 2013.

Elemis is working with grooming and beauty experts to create a bespoke service for British Airways customers to leave them feeling prepped and polished before they fly. The new pre-flight pampering options will all be offered alongside a selection of indulgent 15-minute treatments, all designed to enhance the flying experience, whether that means relaxing or re-energizing.

Also to be unveiled is a refurbished spa at Terminal 5, In addition to the new grooming area the spa itself will receive a facelift with a palette of soothing colors and natural materials. The layout will incorporate a product zone complete with mirrors, complimentary products for self- treatments and customers will also be able to order products online with a special British Airways discount, in addition to the introduction of new state-of-the-art 3D massage chairs, replicating the hands and techniques of a therapist while customers enjoy treatments focused on their hands, feet or head and shoulder area.

The British Airways-Elemis experience will continue in-flight for customers in Club World with the introduction of a new in-flight amenity bag. The drawstring bag includes products to refresh, revive and rehydrate, created in compact sizes exclusively for British Airways customers.
