Cadillac chooses d3 for the global launch of the first-ever 2017 Cadillac XT5

A private event at Dubai Design District, better known as d3, signified the first ever global launch of an automobile by a leading luxury auto brand in the Middle East, as Cadillac launched the original 2017 Cadillac XT5.

The launch was held in partnership with acclaimed fashion designers Public School who debuted their XT5 inspired capsule collection in an exclusive fashion show, held for invited guests.

The launch of the Cadillac XT5 is a first for d3, building on a successful calendar of design-led events such as Meet d3, Fashion Forward and Dubai Design Week, with Sole DXB returning to d3 for a second year later this month.

Commenting on the launch, Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, Chief Operating Officer of d3, said: “Being chosen as the global venue to launch an international motor brand for the first time in the Middle East, combined with the debut of Public Schools Fall collection, is a very proud moment for d3. This synergy of design and technology is the epitome of our district and another step in our journey to becoming an international design destination.”
