It’s that festive time of year again and what better way to celebrate the season than an afternoon filled with carols, crafts, and hot mulled drinks, enjoyed in the heart of Dubai.
The Capital Club, Dubai’s premier private City Club and member of the ENSHAA group of companies, got in the holiday spirit with a Festive Craft Fair.
The Club’s Al Hamra Grill and level-four terrace was bustling with festive cheer as Members and their families gathered to enjoy holiday treats, including mince pies, gingerbread, chocolate, and of course turkey with all the trimmings, while being regaled by holiday songs courtesy of the American School of Dubai Choir and the Dubai Vocal Ensemble Choir.
The day also offered the chance to do some holiday shopping, with revellers spoilt for choice with an array of beautiful handmade crafts by local artisans and producers.
Emma Cullen, Capital Club General Manager, said, “This time of year holds a special place in our hearts, because we get the chance to spend time with our Members and their families and friends. This year we really wanted to make it a family affair, which is why we decided to have a craft fair and include the talented young voices from the American School of Dubai Choir. This way our Members have a great place to get into the festive spirit, spend some quality time with their families, and even get some shopping done. We also had a lot of fun activities and some special gifts for the younger ones.”
The Festive Craft Fair had a range of beautiful handmade and vintage craft products on offer, including dolls, garlands, festive cards, chocolates, and much more provided by, QueenB Arts & Cards, The Amal Project, Mawaheb, and Little Majilis.
