Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche Hotel has signed contracts with travel agents to receive guests from the GCC countries during summer.
“We are ready to receive guests from the GCC for summer, we have various offers for them to enjoy summer activities in Abu Dhabi,” said Mr Ismail Ibrahim, marketing and sales manager at the Hotel.
He said: “He had visited Kuwait and Qatar, where he agreed with travel agents to organize visits by families, adding that the Hotel has also agreed with Ferrari World and Yas Waterpark for special offers for those families involving lower prices.”
He said: “The Hotel had agreed with Etihad Airways and its affiliate Hala Abu Dhabi to organize those trips and to host pilgrims who stop over in Abu Dhabi on their way to Saudi Arabia to perform Haj.”
He said: “Negotiations are also under way with Emirates Holidays, an affiliate of Emirates airlines, to host more visitors to the Hotel.
“We have also finalized deals with a number of national companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar to offer holidays for employees at promotional prices during this summer,” he added.
He revealed that “Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority has agreed to make special offers for passengers using Air Arabia flights between July and September.”
He said: “The Authority is exerting great efforts this year to increase hotel occupancy rates during summer, stressing the need for more cultural and recreational events in the country to attract more visitors to hotels from the UAE and other GCC members.”
“Our hotel has recorded an increase in tourism groups from China, India and Europe. We now have special offers for German and Australian markets,” he added.
