Crayon’s inaugural participation at the GITEX Technology Week 2014, held at the Dubai World Trade Center last week, concluded on a high note exceeding the initial expectations of the global ‘software experts business’. GITEX is the leading ICT exhibition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) and attracted visitors from over 150 nations, and 3,700 exhibiting companies representing 61 countries.
Crayon, represented by its team of local experts, achieved a high level of brand and services awareness by showcasing an integrated range of innovative solutions and services for the ICT industry including details of its track record of successful deployments across major IT projects in the local market. During the five-days of show, Crayon spotlighted their ‘Best in Class’ solutions in Software Asset Management, Cloud and Licensing Solutions, IT Consulting Services and the IT training and events programs.
Joachim Hagstrom, Crayon ME CEO commented “Gitex Technology Week 2014 provided an excellent platform for Crayon’s brand visibility and presence, boosted our local presence and provided an ideal opportunity to strengthen the business relationships with our key partners, whilst developing many new prospects in the region which I anticipate will allow us to grow our business in the middle east aggressively in the months to come.”
The company developed a number of additional opportunities to enhance business relationships for the Middle East and North Africa with several partners such as; OX Open-Xhange, the email and collaboration platform technology provider, Kelverion, the experts in IT process automation, VMware, the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure and with Veeam, the innovative provider of solutions that deliver availability for the Modern Data Center. Crayon expects to confirm its appointment as a Veeam Cloud Provider (VCP) aggregator for Middle East and North Africa, with this status being activated in November 2014.
“We are pleased about the success of our debut participation in the region’s largest ICT industry event. We have positively achieved what we were aiming for in terms of reinforcing our presence in the local market and the reach of our service offering to all industry segments. It was a remarkable success for us from all aspects, from a brand exposure standpoint to partnerships acquisition as well as our regional client’ base growth” added Husam Al Hmoud Crayon ME, Head of Business Development.
