Avaya, a global leader in business communications software, systems and services, presented twenty Dubai based software developers with the world’s first “Avaya Certified Snap-Ins Developer” accreditation, which enables an individual to communication-enable any aspect of an organization quickly and easily.
Avaya conducted a three day bootcamp in Dubai designed to showcase the potential of Engagement Development Platform, ease of “snap-in” application creation and deployment, and the benefits of using the Avaya-hosted Collaboratory tool for development environment. Participants gained a hands-on experience of working with development experts to build, test and install their own Java applications. Avaya’s Engagement Development Platform, commonly referred to as EDP, brings together the customer experience management found in call centers and the unified communications tools to create enterprise-wide solutions that address the specific needs of businesses to transform their customer experiences.
Savio Tovar Dias, Director – Sales Engineering, Avaya AMEA said, “Avaya is keen to drive innovation in the technology sector in the Middle East and the world. The software developers community are at the heart of the innovation drive; being part of the enterprise, whether public or private, means that they are the ones who would understand the needs of their business and are able to translate those needs quickly and easily into smart applications that work.”
