Emirates urges Boeing to move fast on 777

Emirates Airline has urged US planemaker Boeing to decide quickly on whether or not to build an enhanced version of the wide-body 777, predicting it would be a success in the market, Reuters has reported. "The 777 and its derivative is of great interest to us because we started taking the 777-300ERs in 2005 and they will start retiring in 12 year period," Emirates president, Tim Clark told the news service. Boeing rival Airbus should also not let the A350 widebody jet program run up three years of development delays, similar to those seen on Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Clark added.
