Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, operator of the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island, and Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi investment and development company that master-planned and is developing Al Maryah Island, today announced the completion of the hotel’s structural framing.
The last concrete pillar on the roof of the five-star establishment was cemented at a ceremony witnessed by Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy Group CEO & CEO of Emerging Sectors at Mubadala, Ali Eid AlMheiri, Executive Director, Mubadala Real Estate & Infrastructure, along with Simon Casson, Regional Vice President & General Manager Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
On completion, the 34 floor hotel will consist of 190 hotel guestrooms, 54 serviced apartments, 1,290 sqm of meeting and conference facilities, along with a rooftop pool and 300 sqm garden looking over Al Maryah Island’s waterfront promenade.

Al Maryah Island is an integrated, 114-hectare mixed-use development at the center of Abu Dhabi, master-planned and being developed by Mubadala Development Company. The island has been designated as Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, modelled on the world’s leading mixed-use 24-hour financial districts.
With structural elements in place and a grand opening on target for Q2 2016, the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi now moves forward with the completion of the façade and internal components to the hotel.
