French visitors to Abu Dhabi increase by 4 per cent in 9 months: TCA

Visitors spent 150.249 nights, signalling growth of two per cent, with average length of stay of 3.6 nights

The number of French visitors to Abu Dhabi hotels increased by four per cent to reach 41,769 visitors during the first nine months of 2015 compared with the same period last year, reveals a senior official.

The French visitors spent 150.249 nights, signalling a growth of two per cent, with an average length of stay of 3.6 nights, Alarabiya.net reports.

“Abu Dhabi doesn’t target only the French market, but, in general, it focuses on Europe, which is a hugely important source market to us for those visitors looking for five-star luxury breaks in the emirate,” said, His Excellency Mubarak Al Nuaimi, Director Promotions & Overseas Offices, Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority during the annual International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) in Cannes, France.

“Abu Dhabi has extensive facilities, luxurious hospitality services, exceptional tourist attractions and entertainment, which meet the requirements of this sector’s visitors, which we highlighting in the annual International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) to encourage more European visitors to stay longer in our tourism destination,” he added.
