GulfRun, the region’s most popular motorsport activity, honored Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, for its main sponsorship of the event. GulfRun attracted large numbers of motorsport enthusiasts during the recently concluded 10th edition that witnessed the organization of many exciting activities in Kuwait and Bahrain.
Zain participated in the conclusion ceremony that was recently held in Radisson Blu hotel, where it awarded the first, second, and third place winners of all categories of the final race that took place recently at Bahrain International Circuit. The race witnessed immense participation of motorsport enthusiasts, both amateur and professional.
Zain’s sponsorship of the latest edition of this unique motorsport event is in line with the company’s belief in supporting the youth and sports sectors, and encouraging the various sporting initiatives that cater to young people in Kuwait.
GulfRun activities included the latest final race in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which was considered as a true test of participants’ motorsport skills, in addition to the sport cars show that took place at 360 Mall, where participants showcased their exquisite high-speed cars and thrilled visitors. Additionally, a Karting Endurance race was held at Kuwait’s SIRBB Circuit over a straight 24-hour period that attracted a large, thrill-seeking crowd.
GulfRun is considered an ideal and safe alternative to street racing, which threatens the lives of many people, many of them young drivers, every year. Through GulfRun, motorsport enthusiasts were able to showcase their talents within professional and certified grounds.
