Hilton Worldwide has unveiled a motor racing–themed suite in its hotel in Abu Dhabi as the capital city gears up for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.
Hilton Abu Dhabi launched the McLaren-Honda-themed racing suite as the hotel completed ten years of their partnership with the racing brand.
The room, inspired by McLaren-Honda racing drivers Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso, has been decorated with McLaren-Honda racing equipment and memorabilia, including race suits and helmets, a stack of tyres, a steering wheel from a real McLaren-Honda racing car and a podium.
“The UAE boasts a huge grand prix fan base and we are thrilled to mark the tenth anniversary of Hilton’s partnership with McLaren-Honda and the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi with the exclusive racing suite inspired by the racing legends themselves,” says Aligi Gardenghi, vice-president, marketing, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton Worldwide.
A spokesperson for the hotel said the room will be available for AED3,200 for two adults and up to two children. The suite comes with executive lounge access.
The Hilton Group, which operates more than 4,400 hotels in its portfolio, owns 19 hotels in the UAE and has more than 60 hotels in 17 of the Grand Prix race locations.
