Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) unveiled its new fuel-efficiency products in an exclusive Iranian exhibition in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashqabat.
Dena, Arisan, Runna and Soren are among the main products on display in Ashqabat exhibition.
Iran Khodro Diesel also took part in the exhibition by displaying its gasoline pikc-up, Arian mini-bus, Aria trauk and a six-ton truck.
The exhibition was inaugurated in a solemn ceremony attended by Turkmenistan’s vice president and Iranian Industry Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.
Addressing the opening ceremony, the Turkmenistan official praised Iranian companies for their efforts to promote their products’ quality and called for expansion of trade ties between Iran and Turkmenistan.
Visiting Iran Khodro’s booth, he also referred to the high-quality of IKCO products adding: “We are interested to see more of the products in our market.”
Ashqabat exhibition was aimed at boosting Iran’s export to Turkmenistan and expanding trade ties between two countries’ businessmen.
As the largest car manufacturer in the Middle East, IKCO has demonstrated its capabilities in producing vehicles with advance systems and high emission standards.
IKCO’s products are well-known in Turkmenistan particularly Samand which is highly popular among the Turkemens. Now the company is planning to increase its share in Turkmenistan’s market.
The three-day Ashqabat exhibition kicked off on August 19 receiving visitors.
