Q & A with Artem Rudyuk, Region Manager, Admitad MENA
How have the pandemic and remote working affected your daily operations?
Affiliate marketing’s current situation gives businesses new opportunities to drive sales to their e-commerce stores. Our main feature is being able to provide non-risky solutions to drive traffic and sales to online merchants, and we find that many retailers are now opting for this marketing strategy and dedicating more time and effort towards this as more consumers are now moving their shopping to the digital sector. Although daily operations might be a bit challenging during remote working, we find that more clients are now putting their focus on affiliate marketing, and this synergy in working together is allowing operations to run smoothly regardless.
What has your experience with remote working been like so far?
Admitad is a multinational IT and digital company; it is not a challenge for us to work remotely whilst at the same time maintaining that efficiency – especially during a time like this, where digital activities are on a constant rise, we are continuously looking at novice ways to streamline our business processes. I would even go as far as to say that remote working has saved a lot of time for our employees in commuting back and forth to the office, and any other unproductive activities that might have risen from being at the office.
What are your short-to-mid term plans to address issues arising due to the global lockdown?
As we provide online businesses the opportunity to grow and continue earning effectively, we aim on educating the market to implement the most efficient practices, whilst giving them the tools and technology they need to achieve their sales and marketing goals.
What will the long term impact of the pandemic be on your company and your sector?
During these times, we are seeing an increase in digital activity as more and more consumers prefer to do all of their shopping online in order to stay safe. This provides online businesses and retailers a great opportunity to put focus on driving online sales – as affiliate marketing is very much focused on the digital space, we truly believe that this pandemic will encourage our clients to put more focus on learning about how to fully and effectively utilize affiliates in their daily operations.
Looking at a future after the pandemic, what are your essential takeaways from the crisis and how will they reshape your business/operating model going forward?
The primary takeaway from the situation should be new abilities and opportunities to be co-operational, rational and creative in the ways that we approach our business goals – the world and market has been constantly changing since the beginning of time, and we need to learn how to adapt and use these changes to our benefit. At Admitad, we strongly believe that every issue and every problem is just another opportunity to be innovative.
