Internet penetration in Jordan reaches 70% in H1

According to Jordan's Telecoms Regulatory Commission (TRC), internet penetration in the country has reached 70% by the end of June, with around 4.641 million users, Jordan Times has reported. The majority of internet subscribers in the kingdom use mobile broadband, with 988,774 subscriptions by the end of June, followed by ADSL (191,503), WiMAX (103,184), cable (4,206), leased line (1,381) and dial-up (685), the TRC figures showed.
